Take on the role of an elite ex-soldier as they fight to stop a shady organisation's evil plans in this first person virtual reality shooter.
The first that is apparent about Mortal Blitz is that it has what can easily be described as among the best graphics in the current generation of virtual reality games. The game play itself is a fairly standard first person VR shooter, however, with you being placed in a number of situations where you have to shoot a lot of bad guys. And that's mostly all there is to it. You have dual weapon wielding at your disposal, limited movement through an "anti-gravity control system", and a training mode to get you tuned up before the big show. There are some issues, however. There is a very limited selection of weapons to use, even more limited options for movement, and not much variation in things to shoot at.
Looks Great But...
If you just want something that really shows off how good virtual reality can look, then Mortal Blitz is worth the cost. If you're looking for a fleshed out, fun shooter, there are other games out there that, while perhaps not being as visually appealing, do a better job at the core game. And many of them at a lower price point.
